"Do you have a training pistol? Some are VERY expensive and don't get the job done. How's about training with a wooden rubber-band pistol instead? And I'll do you one better, one that actually shoots something, so you know what it's like to fire and be fired upon. Perfectly safe, multi-fire rubber bands but it gives you the real feel of shooting at someone while they are shooting back at you. Pistol range is about 8-10 feet which is the most common distance in an up close and personal combat scenario. Use it in a training progression through sims, markers and then live fire. I have customized this "Experimenter" model for a shorter barrel and the shape better resembles a semi-auto." -Hock 

A rotating gear disc allows for some 7 or 8 shots. This comes with a supply of properly sized rubber bands.
