W. Hock Hochheim's
PACIFIC ARCHIPELAGO CONCEPTS
VERY SPECIAL EMPHASIS on FILIPINO MARTIAL ARTS
June 12, 13 Denver, CO
Hand, Single Stick, Double Stick, Knife, Stick and Knife
FMA systems of the Pacific Ocean
"This is especially geared for FMA (and PAC) rank progress, instructorships, etc. Of course, such testing is optional and someone can just train for knowledge" - Hock
* No artsy, redundant waste-of-time materials. Just the essence of PAC (and FMA)
* Full participation, no one stands around and watches others 70% of the time
* Open to all. Beginners welcome. This isn't a UFC match or rocket science
* Instructor development
* Progress in course ranking or just, simply train for knowledge
* ...and more.
Looking for the “winning edge?” Look here. Some call it “Jungle Fighting.” Hock was awarded the title of Guro after testing on the Negros Island, The Philippines in the early 1990s. He has worked for the last 30 years forging, carving and chiseling the many Filipino (and Archipelago) systems down into a skeleton-core survival, “Filipino Combatives.”
This event is a gathering, a problem-solving experience and training. For
beginners, learn the fascinating ways of the Filipino combatant. For others, refresh, relearn, renew, regroup, grow. Also, “new” or “old,” get credit for what you learn here. Get credit for what you already know here from elsewhere. Or, get your next PAC/FMA rank. Or, just train for knowledge.
Hock possesses a unique experience and savvy that very few other instructors have, all blended with a career in the martial arts dating back to 1972 and the earning of several black belts in various Pacific Island/Archipelago martial arts from the Philippines, Hawaii and Japan. He has forged his Force Necessary
courses from the military, the police, the martial arts and the aware citizenry, as each group knows things about fighting that the others do not. Hock has been a paid consultant trainer for the US Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force. He has taught at police academies for police agencies, be they street or SWAT, in the US, South Africa, England, Ireland, Germany and Australia. He currently teaches some 30 seminars a year in 12 countries as far as China and Australia. He has recently taught the Italian Special Operations, Belgium Counter terrorism Units and the Australian Army.

Please wear street clothes! Especially pants with pockets and a street belt. Please bring ALL your gear. Training knives, guns, sticks. Two focus mitts or two Thai-style pads. We will have some to share, but it would be wise and helpful to bring some. On the training knives, please try to bring a dull, training folder. If you have a fixed blade trainer, having a sheath and belt for it would be good.Brought to you by: Scott Pedersen's Synergy Martial Arts,
